The Luftwaffe are phasing out their A310MRTT soon, but although it doesn't have a boom, EADS have a 310 which does. Perhaps a feasibility study to add a boom to the A310 MRTT to equip a small squadron of 4 to refuel P-8A, Rivet Joint, P-7...and perhaps F-35A?
Only if AirTanker operate them. Remember, their contract calls for them to be the sole provider of inflight refuelling services to the RAF.
