Use of the military was initially offered only to drive overseas arrivals to the hotels in buses, nothing more. Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story though..
No it wasn't. Federal Government recommended quarantine done by the Police and Military. It was reported and discussed widely at the time that was on offer.
