Imagine having to push the "crash into the ocean" button on a runaway airbus.
You know the funny thing about that accident? It was caused by a failure as simple as an electronic braking cable coming apart that triggered an electronic emergency brake on the entire train. However,
by design that brake application released after 60 minutes but it would appear neither BHP or, by default, the driver, understood that particular "feature". Kinda like a certain crew who flew a perfectly serviceable 777 into a seawall on a CAVU day because they didn't fully understand the auto-throttle.
