I saw a large lump in the sky off to the west, turning out from Heathrow around 9.30pm, wondered if it was the Emirates A380 on its way home - yep!

Another sign of normality creeping ever close, the landing lights of three EasyJets inbound 26 at Gatwick in short succession - also around 9.30pm. Loads of BA A319/320/321 inbound Heathrow via Biggin... Things used to be peaceful around these parts...
