I live about 10 miles from Duxford, and every year I go around the museum to have a look - it really is worth it, by the way. The Concorde used to be kept outside, but for the last number of years, she has been in the hangar - as most Brits would know Duxford is a long way from the sea. Give it a few years, and G-BOAD will be totally knackered judging by her proximity to the sea and her outside location.
What was it that that good for nothing BA CEO said about preservation and the 'homes' they were going to?
Does anyone know what the Seattle and Intrepid museums paid for my Concordes? (I recall a figure of £500K for Manchester.)
