I just heard on the BBC that Garmin have suffered a ransom ware attack last Thursday affecting a wide range of their services. It’s on their news website.
Garmin hacked The report suggests it hasn’t been possible to update some aviation databases.
Pilots who use flyGarmin were unable to download up-to-date aviation databases, which aviation regulators such as the FAA require pilots to have, before they can fly.
I’m surprised not to have seen reports here.
