Australian based VTOL e-news Asia-Pacific is now Rotorcraft Asia-Pacific.

The reports indicated there were around 6,200 helicopters in the region, of this number Australia and New Zealand had around 3,200 helicopters registered. Or a little over 50% of the Asia-Pacific region, which has more than half of the global population – and at a guess probably 60%+ of the world’s GDP.
Researchers suggest the 51 nations have a strong growth in their middle-class population allowing for increases in aviation industries.
