The original Daring class destroyers included a Diana, so there is an acceptable precedent (not least since it would be commemorating the previous ship rather than the Queen of Landmines).
Indeed, which makes me more all the more worried!
Dainty...there was also DECOY (on which my pa served) which I have never thought was a wise name for a ship! I also used to find DIDO (Leander) funny as a small boy!
