Don't mind the wan*ers here, their default setting is bitter. You should try working with them.
Not sure if this will apply to your daughter, but a friend of mine was trying to travel to Aus from Philippines via HK, and they would not let him on the flight as he was traveling on two separate carriers. I'm not exactly sure of the details, but he did not get on the flight.
