Possibly fixed by new FTLs. If the A380 is now crewed exclusively by UAE nationals, EK can roster them how they like. It's not like the locals will leave to get a job elsewhere I suppose.
This is a whole new era for Dubai. The Sheikh will expect his people to start pulling their weight (and I'm mainly referring to those locals outside the airline business here).
