1 Knot up or down = 101 ft per minute. In the picture the glider is climbing at 900 ft min. Best I have ever had was 19 knots up
....... followed by 12 kts down
My club just started flying again but the weather has been unseasonable cold and wet on the West Coast of Canada. I am planning to fly this Monday but I very much doubt I will see conditions like Cat's Five.
