For integrated course students, the minimum experience for the MCC certificate is the TKI (groundschool) and four simulator exercises totalling 16 hours MP training ( PF 8 / PM 8 ). Then licence issue.
Normally an ATO would offer either 9 or 10 simulator exercises (MCC/APS) which is clearly far more effective than the minimum legally required.

One option, with the agreement of the ATO, is to complete the minimum now, and the balance 5/6 exercises when the “green shoots” appear. Getting back in the grove, and hitting the ground running when those interview / sim rides eventually reappear.

Modular students have the flexibility to choose which MCC style and UPRT courses after licence issue.

As the Rt Hon Gentleman has pointed out in other threads, unfortunately not all ATOs are likely to survive the tsunami.
