No I am not in the industry now. Work in an Accountants office at the moment (not really as exciting as aviation) but am still trying to get back into aviation.
I even heard that
VB do not employ ex-Ansett pilots or relatives of ex-Ansett pilots, so I don't know if that filters down to crewing/ops. I am not ex-Ansett but if anyone else is and they haven't got a guernsey that could be why. However I would love to be proven wrong and find out that there is no discrimination anymore.
I am an ex-pilot however and I think that may be what goes against me sometimes. They think I am trying to get in and work my way up the front. That is the last thing I want to do, but if you can't get an interview how can you tell them that!!
Oh well back to Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss Accounts
