It is! In particular the 60+ medicals, you have to wear a heart monitor for 24 hours amongst other ridiculous requirements. Hi rate of failures on the over 60 medicals so if you're looking at this option as your retirement gig, be mindful that your retirement might come earlier than your mandatory retirement age.
