There is just no justification for the Runway extension now. Easy,Ryanair are contracting and pulling out of bases such as Southend and possibly Bournemouth
So there is little hope of anybody setting up a Sun route base from SOU!
Southampton has to try to survive with internal routes for the foreseeable future,with restricted hours and mainly prop operations.
