Yes, both of BEA's two final schemes featured those trademark red wings (upper and lower surfaces). Having spent many happy hours admiring them in the early part of my career (both from the cabin on ID90s and duty trips, and from the taildock on major checks), I was among those disappointed when BA couldn't replicate them on the retro A319, for both technical and safety reasons.
