For calibration of what constitutes a serious crime and the corresponding
MAXIMUM sentence, most will actually serve 50-75% of that time before release.
Some spray paint on a memorial fades into insignificance.... It is not something I condone in any way, but let's take a reality check on the seriousness of it and the fact it is actually completely victimless.
Don't get me wrong, if my children did it, then standby, their life would be in for some BIIIIG changes! But spending 10 yrs in jail is dumb for what it is.
