FWIW: use standard
1/2" drive deep sockets for most aircraft plugs as they are deeper than 3/8 drive deep sockets. If still doesn't work look for a motorcycle open tube style plug socket that is usually 13/16 on one side and 3/4 on the other. Good luck.
