‘Do Not Sell My Personal Information‘ on PPRuNe
At the bottom of the menu bar, underneath Terms of Service, is a selection titled ‘Do not sell my personal information.’ I think it’s a fairly recent addition. What’s that about? The implication is that you have to actively say ‘do not sell my information, please.’
Don’t you have to give permission (easy to do inadvertently, I know) rather than the other way round?
(PPRunNe doesn’t have anything interesting of mine and I browse through a VPN, but still.)
