After flying in many parts of the world, I can tell you industrial representation means nothing as it is right now in Europe. And you will see what I mean in the next months if you still need proof.
I have had MUCH better treatment at companies with no representation but with a management and a Ceo (capital C) who actually cares. Harder and hared to fond I know.
Having previously worked both in a unionized environment and in companies likes of WZZ i must say both had their pro-s and con-s. Regarding the current situation in Europe however i must agree with you, I'm afraid. If the guys and gals couldn't get together until now it is going to be close to impossible in post-covid times.
