I moved to the Chrome O/S a while back and whilst generally happy with it, I always found the lack of special characters available on the keyboard to be a nuisance. Typing GBP instead of the pound symbol was a bugbear, but I discovered a way to access more characters than you are ever likely to need. Follow the link below:
