It is NOT good news for everyone, and the probability is that none of the 40 will be returning for at least a year. Temper your exuberance, because there are some very disenchanted pilots out there. Indeed for some, redundancy has happened more than once, and they cannot afford another episode, with families and dependents in tow.
But anyway, good luck to those of you returning to a job instead of facing unemployment with 2 or maybe 4 weeks redundancy payment, and no leave payments. It's good that even the bmi management couldn't screw up everyone's lives in one try.
