Instrument Rating revalidation

I currently hold an EASA APTL with only a 737 type rating and its related IR and in the remarks and restriction sections it says MP.

I am planning on renewing my SEP (expired 2 years ago). To be able to fly IFR on a SEP, do I need to do an IR proficiency check on a SEP?
Subsequently, when I do my yearly LPC for my type rating, does it cross-credit to the SEP/IR for revalidation purposes automatically or do I need two proficiency checks every year?

I did try to look into the Part-FCL document appendix 8, but it's not really clear.
