The
website for the Health Service Executive in ROI states the following:
The only people who do not need to self-isolate are people who are:- returning to the Republic of Ireland from Northern Ireland.
- essential supply chain workers, for example, a pilot, haulier, maritime staff member.
- briefly stopping over at an airport on their way to another country.
The definition of 'briefly stopping over at an airport' is very vague but it doesn't rule out entering ROI and remaining in the airport terminal for a few hours and then checking in again for another flight. That's just my interpretation.
Should the quarantine period still exist by late July (which I doubt), then I shall be flying via DUB using separate tickets for getting to the UK.
