Len Morgan was another regular must read with Flying, also Russell Munson's superlative photos and occasional article were always superb.
Pilot had some superb regular authors over the years such as Neil Williams, Doug Bianchi, Brian Lecomber, Brian Smith, Mike Riley, Stephan Wilkinson and also the late Deputy Editor, Mike Jerram - all wrote engaging articles which I re-read from time to time with the same enjoyment.
It just isn't the same reading you iPad on the bog.
