I’m torn on this.
On the one hand, I would love normality to return and the freedom to go wherever we want but I’m torn by whether it should or can return.
Certainly, initially, fear, lower incomes, higher prices and restrictions will make travel difficult and occasional for the next 2-3 years.
Beyond that, I hope we as individuals and they as businesses start to be more respectful of the planet and more appreciative of the things we consume.
I think we we will see a shift, not a blip, in travel. I think it will come back slowly, differently, but I suspect the days of mass, cheap travel for business and leisure as we know it is probably gone. A new, nicer, greener, more respectful era is probably dawning.
