QR suburban train drivers reported as earning $220k+ lots of overtime, as normal week is very short. Although there's a supposed shortage of train drivers, you have to know someone, promise to give your "1st child" to the union & do a long training course, which should take a few hours but takes 12 months or more on full pay, I mean, it's much more complicated that being a pilot, there's a brake & an accelerator (no indicators & that's it)
