If you want any evidence the Government doesn’t know it’s arse from its elbow when it comes to aviation or anything else for that matter there are still British citizens stranded abroad and returning in dribs and drabs on the odd few charter flights. Other countries managed to sort this on a grand scale weeks ago. Given there’s the odd few aircraft sitting around idle and has been for some weeks it really needn’t have taken so long. It’s not even as though the returnees are getting a free ride!
