Even BEagle Towers (not known for jockstrappery) reverberated to the sound of the match this morning.
The quality of the TV pictures was unbelievable (to someone who remembers seeing both the first cross-Channel and the first Telstar live pictures) - but the rugby was tremendous. A fast game in the first half, then too many mistakes=too many penalties against England.
Amazing actually to be able to hear what the referee was saying to the teams in the scrums - and brilliant camera work and editing. None of which could possibly compare with the quality of the game, of course.
