Most certainly it did exist and still does. Officially a separate airline company but it is an off-shoot of Egyptair but using their aircraft painted all white with nothing to show that it has anything to do with Egypt except the actual registration. Initially started with F-27s, one of which crashed on 9th June 1986 at Cairo, ( the same evening I got married in Cairo ). Then they switched to the Airbus A320 and more recently the Embraer 170. The route was initially shared with ElAl but they pulled out about ten years ago. The fare is expensive, ( often it is far cheaper to fly via Istanbul, Athens or Amman ), and often only had a few passengers aboard. No website, no online booking - not even on Egyptair’s website. Only bookable through Egyptair offices or GSAs.
Strangely enough, Jordan, the other co-signatory never tried to disguise the fact that they were flying between Amman and Tel Aviv.
