We were lucky to be on the fly past route of a Spitfire/Mustang pair Dawn Patrol from the Gold Coast to Brisbane, spot on sunrise as they went over our street.
In contrast a four ship that has flown over Brisbane on ANZAC Day for some fifteen years was denied permission this year by the Queensland Chief Health Officer, which just shows that it is always better to beg forgiveness than to ask permission!
