Not sure how to get a current 747-400 manual. You probably need to know a friendly pilot or so. If you are interested in learning the 747-400 systems you might want to consider PSX simulator from Aerowinx.
You can download parts of the manual for free. Not a 747-400 manual as such, but it will give you a good idea what this Simulator is all about.
