To add to some very old posts I have just read about “The spy who loves me”. The 206 was G-BAML and was used, burning and turning, on the sound stage at Pinewood for the close ups of Caroline Munro flying and displaying large amounts of cleavage. I was lying on the floor making movements on the controls to simulate her flying. Most enjoyable!
Seond posts concern the Barrett’s tv advert flying through the wall. The 206 was G-BEKA belonging to Barrett’s and the Allouette 2 was G-AWAP. John Crewdson. John flew the 206 and only clipped the top of the wall before the light ran out. I flew AP as the safety and for the close ups of Patrick Allen. Date was 19 June 77 in a sand pit near Colchester.
