Looking For an Instrument Fitter's Expert Opinion

An alternative explanation for the almost 50kts slow airspeed that led to the Senator Paul Wellstone KingAir A100 crash.

See the theory here:

Wouldst appreciate any learned input from experienced instrument fitters familiar with the vagaries of instrument pneumatics and

water trapped in static lines,
water freezing in static lines (and then unfreezing on descent),
frequency of draining static lines (checking for trapped water),
heated versus unheated static ports, (KingAir A100?)
entrainment of melting airframe ice into said ports

conduct of pressure instruments in climb, cruise above the zero degree isotherm - and on descent/approach.....with particular emphasis on the likelihood of ASI's then overreading by a significant amount.
