Hey Flitefone, I wasn't claiming that line as anything original, but i do use it with affection
I've been to plenty of Thirld World countries and you wouldn't want to live there unless you didn't have a choice (which is most of their populations)
I don't know who first quoted the line about rorts, but I bet it was first uttered here in OZ at Camp Cove in 1788, and probably originated in Old Blighty
