I attended staff college a few years back with the Commander of their SF Battalion. Hard as nails and one of the deepest and cleverest thinkers I've met. Desperately keen to 'do the right thing' and it transpired we were at HQ ISAF at the same time - he commanded the FP Coy there. We paid him a visit several summers back at Lake Ohrid - unbelievable hospitality (embarrassingly so) and ate enough meat in a day to last us for a month or so. And let's not mention about alcohol...
