I doubt that EK pilots forming a picket line outside the Ministry of Labour will change very much.
The country is not densely populated by people who are coining it. One estimation I read two years ago was that as little as 10% of the ex-pat population in the country (give or take 800,000) earn more than 5K AED per month.
