They say that there is no such thing as a free lunch and Loganair being given all these ex BMIR aircraft to find work for put them in a bind. They had planned on a few ERJ's being transferred to them as the Saab's were phased out and instead ended up with a fleet that had not worked for their old partner company and which would not work at many of their established airports.
Developing profitable work for maybe a dozen extra ERJ's has been a struggle that will still be there when the lockdown is over.
