Seriously, airlines give refunds if flights they got cancelled simple as that. Fill in a flight refund form. Do a google search. It's that simple.

Airline who are offering vouchers are doing so as an alternative. If you are planning on using Aer Lingus again it's a great offer, I got opted for a voucher. It's 10% extra over what you paid and can be used up to 5 years into the future. In fact Aer Lingus have allowed people who were meant to travel in April and May (even if flight still flying) to get this same voucher.

There is a lot of noise and often imho incorrectly and unfairly. This industry will take a long time to recover. The sector is shrouded in EU rules and protection, the customer is well covered. In my experience Aer Lingus has always been fortright and followed the law.
