Hi Bravo73 ... a bit more trivia ...
I live in central Canada (Manitoba) and was feeling smug and safe ..... as far away as a person can be from the pandemic. Nothing to worry about .... or so I thought ... we are sparsely populated for the most part .....
eg: ....... Manitoba = pop 1.3 million over 250,950 sq mi (649,950 sq km) ....
by comparison UK = pop 67.5 million over 93,628 sq mi (242,495 sq km)
Then Winnipeg Manitoba announced 3 cases of coronavirus ..... all contacted from recent overseas travel. I am over 60 miles from Winnipeg .... still no concerns ....... UNTIL a week later 19 cases , 2 of which are right in my area. I am no longer so smug !!!
Decided to take some precautions .... stock up on food and refill my drug prescription ..... What a shock .... many store shelves are bare Including a Very large WalMart ..... and instead of 6 units of (puffer) (Salbutamol) medication at my pharmacy I got the last one. ..... I am 68 , lungs are shot , puffer meds keep lungs clear .... home oxygen if needed , not a worry overall but without Salbutamol puffer I cannot survive ..... turns out people with coronavirus use the same medication and stocks are running low.
