rumours of the government putting a substantial capital injection into Air NZ which is nice for them but not great for all other airlines. Jetconnect and Virgin NZ will effectively be grounded with massive capacity cuts to Air NZ and Jetstar. Buckle in it’s going to be a wild ride.
Air NZs international rights should be rescinded if that was to occur and the Trans Tasman agreement binned. You can't operate so called free/open markets when one country is basically a socialist state.
