Provided an aircraft is properly cleaned it is relatively safe given the number of air changes and use of filters. The cockpit more so as effectively nobody else goes there except the odd CC and the risk of a pilot in the UK being infected today is small.

Doing a walk round staying more than 6 feet from other people and only touching your own aircraft again is negligible risk. Obviously wash your hands on boarding and disembarking. Even wipe the cockpit door handles. But risk would appear low today.

So please dont spread alarm. We do indeed have a major problem coming our way, and it can be argued that we should be ramping up our response by isolating the immunosuppressed and reducing public space population density eg by advising home working 2 days a week. There is enough to consider without claiming it doesnt matter - you may have said it tongue in cheek but these things are picked up
