It's very easy to be on your high horse when you're on the other side.
dobby88, I think in this case being on the other side it is more an appreciation of how little can phase an aspiring pilot. At this point in time with the current trends (Boeing 737 MAX / Coronavirus / Brexit / UK leaving EASA) I'm not sure I'd join any training program knowing what I know now about how the industry works. Furthermore, until more becomes clear I'd certainly think long and hard about right-to-work in the EU should you be a Brit. I think some challenging times are ahead for the UK industry specifically.
