So if FlyBe do end up in administration, what potentially happens next? Is the aim to rescue the good bits or simply sell whatever assets are left and the name disappears. I have used FlyBe over the years from my local Belfast airport and the flights have been busy, it just seems a shame that this local asset could be destroyed over incompetent management.
I sincerely hope it doesn't happen, the stress and worry of losing jobs is horrendous and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
Could be a flyBMI-style administration. Put it into administration, transfer the assets to another company, trim the fat, take the good routes and bases, throw out the bad ones, and in a few days offer the ex-employees new jobs.
