I wouldn't say that is particularly fair. Steve Double has worked hard for Flybe as the MP for Newquay, helping with the PSO status and the Heathrow slots. There has also been investment in the rail including repairs at Dawlish. Granted it isn't always huge amounts and a lot more could be done but the money has to come from somewhere and not many people are happy with tax rises. Incidentally Flybe's local MP, Ben Bradshaw was one of the biggest supporters of green taxes, which are now cited by Flybe as being one of the reasons behind their problems.
