No need to get aggressive. This is just my opinion, my assessment of the situation and how I see the company strategy moving based on people I've spoken to. The cadet, FO and captain markets can move at different speeds. Might not be fair, but I'm ready to stand corrected as soon as I see more information. New captains command higher salaries, so it does make sense that's the first line of staff cost cuts, for the time being. No doubt it'll have an impact down the line as well. Also, cadets arent being hired for the current job market, but for the one in two years time. Wasn't so long ago when ryanair was caught with its pants down by insufficient staffing. Sorry if I'm being hopeful about a situation I have no control over. Maybe learn a bit about stoicism?
