Nothing is certain of course and caution should always be exercised however over reacting isn't wise either. I quizzed representatives of EZY at the open day individually and in their group presentation as I have my stage 3 soon so need to know all the facts. The facts are that Easyjet are contractually obliged to train 200 cadets a year for the next 5 years. EZY felt this is safe because they currently forecast a need of 600 new pilots a year. The MPL are their 1st priority so they are relatively safe. Of course it should be mentioned that we don't know how severe the impact of COVID-19 will be so nothing is guaranteed but the way I see it if any airline is set up to weather hard times then it's EZY. The fact is this is an industry wide issue so what effects EZY effects BA and the rest.
