Tragic news. Condolences to those involved.
Why people have to get into the childish and insensitive 'it was only a Seneca 1' etc. nonsense under these circumstances beats me. It does however seem to be particularly prevalent in the Dunnunda and Godzone forums.
I did my UK to Oz twin endorsement conversion on that aircraft, as well as having a fair number of hours on it since. It flew, as far as I know, just like any other Seneca 1. That is of course except for the time I lost the port spinner in flight, even though there was no noticeable effect on performance or handling.
Whatever the aircraft was, or was like, or whose fault it was, it was a tragic accident.
