Well it’s not all ‘BS’ I live local and use the public transport to get to the airport. Saves charges and yes it does something for the environment. I know quite a few people who do the same locally. I think if you can use public transport then do it where possible.
Over 53% of Stansted’s passengers use the transport network to and from Stansted and if some can do more to help the environment then that’s brilliant.
Of course if you live locally to Stansted you can apply for the discount card (free). That reduces the charge to 50p if you live within 5 miles or £1 if you are in the 5 to 10 mile range.
