It's not too unusual that US regionals take in DECs or SICs who shortly get bumped up to PIC provided they have that 1,000 hours.
I’m familiar with the FARs but am unable to find a definitive answer to whether 1000’s of hours PIC flying A320/B737 for say a European airline under EASA regs would count towards this requirement. Can anyone please advise?
